This blog will be your guide… We’ll explore some of the ideal neighbourhoods in Collingwood for buyers looking to plant their roots and feel not only welcome, but at home. Properties range from current listings at $400 for a condo apartment, $650+ for a fixer-upper, all the way to over a million for a beautifully finished property depending on the neighbourhood. You can still find some beautiful homes, but depending on your price point these single detached properties may realistically, be a bit out of reach.

2. Georgian Meadows

A family-friendly neighborhood known for its quiet streets and well-maintained homes and the first community in Collingwood built with the ENERGY STAR® certification. The community of Georgian Meadows offers more of a suburban family feel.

  • Why It’s Ideal: This area features parks, walking trails, and quick proximity to schools, making it perfect for young families and buyers seeking a peaceful environment. You are near the Blue Mountains Golf and Country Club, Curries Far Market, Free Spirit Forest, and Nature School. Walmart, Home Hardware, Home Depot and more are just a quick drive away.
  • Typical Property Types: Built in 2001-2014 these homes are primarily single detached family homes. Often with great yard space for outdoor activities! These properties don’t come cheap, ranging in the $900s – $1.2 million.

3. Windfall at Blue Mountain

Located on the outskirts of Collingwood, and really more in The Blue Mountains is Windfall at Blue Mountain
