Looking to engage the services of a local REALTOR® to help you find the perfect home? You are not alone! In Canada over 60% of Canadians own their own home. Working with a REALTOR® to make home ownership a reality can be challenging unless your expectations are well laid out. In my opinion, there are 3 real estate agent interview questions that need to be answered. The first question I like to ask my potential client is, “how do you like to be communicated with”? It is so important that we align our communication styles and expectations in the beginning of our relationship. This alignment set up boundaries so that we are each respecting each others time.

Here are some real estate interview questions you can ask us: How do you sell? In a real sense, we REALTORS® are just like any other sale person whose goal it is to sell. Our first sale needs to be you! If you don’t like or trust us there is no way we can work to find you a home. There is a LOT that goes into preparing to buy a home or property and the way I sell is to educate you on the home buying process. It is important to me that you know the all the steps involved and we communicate the best way that works for you!

How many clients do you have? No one likes to hire the services of a REALTOR® who, may be number 1 in their market but who is difficult to reach and unavailable when you need them. An important way to ensure they are able to address your needs is to ask, how many clients they currently have and for recent references. A full roster of clients may mean they won’t have time for you.
