Ohhhh to have a home/condo that backs onto the Millpond here in town is a dream come true! Trust me, I fell in love with this neighbourhood and bought a home on the Millpond myself over 6 years ago. 

The Millpond is fed by the Beaver River, which flows through the Thornbury Dam and fish ladder. The active pond life makes for hours of peace and calm. Grab your favourite beverage, sit down and while away an hour watching the pond life drama unfold. The pairing swans and their signets are magical to see. The geese migrate in spring and fall at very specific times. This pond is definitely for avid bird watchers.  Aside from ducks, geese, swans, swallows, bluejays, and orioles, we have spotted a snowy Owl, Eagles, white, green and blue Herons!

The homes along the millpond are located off Alice Street, Elgin, and Mcauley. Located off highway 26 are 12 units facing the pond and 10 face the highway 26. It’s a super cozy community where we all look out for each other. Highway 26 Millpond facing condominiums are reverse floor plan, while the pond facing condominiums are bungalow and bunga-loft style.
