I often get asked about Lora Bay, as I have helped many people purchase in Lora Bay and the surrounding developments. I have many blogs post covering the well-loved community of Lora Bay and other Popular Thornbury Neighbourhoods. Although I haven’t posted an update on Phase 5, Lora Bay Cottages yet. So dear readers, let’s give the people what they want, a Lora Bay Phase 5: Spring 2023 Update!

Since winter wasn’t exactly the winter we normally get, there was plenty of time for construction to develop! Therefore it is time to update with a Spring 2023 update. I am so excited for my clients who have purchased here as some units are even nearing completion. Check out Lora Bay Cottages Spring 2023:

Lora Bay Phase 5 Development: Spring Update 2023
If you prefer to read all about it, thank you for getting this far! There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes before the construction process can begin… plans, permits, approvals oh my! We can’t forget about site tests, Phase 5 Lora Bay, also known as the Cottages construction has begun, land has been cleared. What once was a muddy pit, is now filled in and levelled. The land has been prepared, and the site services have been put in. Shared with the public is a giant sign that states “Site Servicing and Road Works” with an end date stating June 2022, obviously this is a bit behind schedule due to COVID-19, you can read my blog on unavoidable new build delays. What was once a work road, is now a permanent road – beautifully paved. Boots on the ground we can also see most of the foundations have gone in, and the first handful of homes are nearing completion and almost ready for some people to move into their new homes!
Lora Bay Resale
Since Lora Bay Phase 5 is sold out, there are only resale homes within Lora Bay (from any of the 5 phases) that are becoming available. The last Lora Bay home sold for 1.7 Million end of April 2023. Or I just heard from a little birdy that there are a few new builds left at Lora Bay Master Collection: The Sands, luxury townhouses (Check out our video on Lora Bay: The Sands Development Here).
